Art and Design Juried Exhibition

Montclair State University’s Department of Art and Design is excited to kick off the Spring 2025 semester with the Art & Design Juried Exhibition at Finley Gallery. The exhibition runs from January 19th through February 6, 2025, with an opening reception on Wednesday, January 22nd from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

This showcase features work from students in Visual Arts, Fashion Design and Merchandising, Illustration, Product Design, and Visual Communication Design programs. Eighty-four professors across five disciplines selected two students each from last semester, highlighting exceptional projects that demonstrate the creativity and potential cultivated in our studios.

The exhibition demonstrates the breadth and scope of our programs, and gives our community a wonderful opportunity to see what is being made and discovered in our studios here at Montclair State University.

The exhibition presents a wide range of media, including drawings, paintings, digital illustrations, printmaking, photography, video, sculpture, and more. Discover over 70 artworks, reflecting diverse approaches and engaging with contemporary themes.
